Gowanus Tree Network Info Session

The goal of the Gowanus Tree Network is to connect up to 3 neighborhood blocks with the resources and expertise they need to take care of their street trees. Blocks will work with the Gowanus Canal Conservancy (GCC) and The Nature Conservancy (TNC) and receive:
– At least two free slots in a Citizen Pruner certification course in March/April
– Free plants, soil, and tools needed to steward trees
– A community tree stewardship event
– Entry in the Greenest Block in Brooklyn competition
