Jingle Bell Jamboree 2009!

Come join us in our annual Park Slope tradition – the holiday concert event and sing-a-long – the 9th annual Jingle Bell Jamboree.

When: 7:00 PM SATURDAY, DECEMBER 19

Where: Old First Reformed Church
Carroll Street and Seventh Avenue 
  

Host Ethan Schlesser promises "a calvalcade  - a cornucopia - a plethora of music groups, dance ensembles, choral performances, and festive holiday cheer as the audience sings along (song sheets included).

"Along with regulars - Bilger Family Singers, The Brooklyn Community Chorus, and MS 51 – there will be new surprises and performers yet to be announced.

"Come join the fun!!"

Schlesser launched the holiday celebration, co-sponsored by the Civic Council, in the aftermath of 9/11 as a way of bringing the community together. The event is free, but there is a suggested donation of $5-$10 to cover the expenses of the participating groups and Old First.

The Civic Council will be collecting new, unwrapped gifts for it Toys for Tots campaign.
