This letter to the Board of Standards and Appeals regarding the New York Methodist Hospital expansion was written by the PSCC subsequent to review of a request by neighborhood group Preserve Park Slope. PPS is asking the BSA to reopen the consideration of the minimum variances granted to the hospital based on new information. After an emergency Nov. 21 meeting of the PSCC where both the hospital and PPS made presentations, the Trustees voted unanimously to write the letter. The public hearing is slated for Dec. 16, 10:00 am, at 22 Reade Street in Spector Hall in Lower Manhattan.
