SUMMARY:Fourth Avenue Open House: New Design Ideas
DESCRIPTION:The city’s Department of Transportation\, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz\, and the Fourth Avenue Task Force are hosting an open house where you can review some new design concepts for Fourth Avenue between Pacific and 15th Streets in Park Slope and provide feedback. \nThis open house follows a successful public workshop in February where community members discussed the future of Fourth Avenue. The Park Slope Civic Council’s Forth on Fourth Avenue Committee played an important role in that workshop\, both by holding a planning session before the event and generating enthusiasm for the event. \nDOT has been conducting a year-long assessment of traffic safety along the length of Fourth Avenue\, from Atlantic Avenue to Bay Ridge\, and has begun to implement changes\, based on community input from neighborhoods in Bay Ridge and Sunset Park. \n
