Scott Middleton, Trustee
Scott has a background in transportation and community planning in the Boston area. He moved to Park Slope in 2019 and is now Partnership Planner with the Jamaica Bay-Rockaway Parks Conservancy, an official partner of the National Park Service. Scott is leading the development of a stewardship resource plan for the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge and is a liaison for the Park Service with community partners in Brooklyn and Queens. His connections to community and environmental improvement run deep. He is also a board member of Young Professionals in Transportation and, as a trip leader for Bike & Build, he organized a cross-country bike trip that raised over $100,000 for charitable causes. His passion for sustainability is a key reason why he joined the Civic Council’s Sustainability Committee.
