To our members and readers: The Park Slope Civic Council regrets that the 2020 Halloween Parade is canceled this year, and that there will be no organized merchant trick or treating. For everyone’s safety, we encourage everybody to trick or treat within your own buildings, among your immediate neighbors, and between family members or your selected pods. Halloween in Park Slope is traditionally an exciting event, full of fun and amazing costumes. We look forward to seeing our Park Slope neighborhood decorated and our neighbors sporting creepy couture! Halloween will be a bit different this year, but we have joined forces with the Old Stone House, Park Slope Parents, and the Park Slope 5th Ave BID, to coordinate festive and socially distanced activities. Keep an eye out for more details about the upcoming 5th Ave scavenger hunt, crafts, and events! Thank you for your patience. We look to the future and optimistically anticipate 2021 and the reclamation of many of our traditions and scheduled events. Take care and stay well. |
