Community Grants Cycle is Open – Apply Now!

The Park Slope Civic Council is accepting applications for grants to be awarded to community groups for projects in the arts, education, youth programs and civic improvement. Applications will be evaluated on their responsiveness to the needs of the community, its residents, and the merits of the program proposals. The guidelines for submission are below:

1. Applicants must serve the greater Park Slope community and must be non-profit organizations whose services, programs and projects are open to residents of Park Slope.

2. Funds are not provided for operating costs of ongoing programs.

3. Grant monies must be used within one year from the date of award.

4. Organizations that have received more than three grants from the Civic Council over the past five years will not be eligible.

5. Applications must be received by March 1st, 2021 and will be awarded in April 2021.

The Civic Council contemplates awarding several grants in the amount of $250 and up to $750 for this cycle.
