2022 Halloween Parade

The annual Park Slope Civic Council’s Children’s Halloween Parade, roared back onto Seventh Avenue – and growled, twirled and cast spells as witches, clowns, dancers, monsters, Harry Potters and princesses -delighted hundreds of kids and adults throughout the neighborhood.

Local marching bands provided musical accompaniment to the parade.

Elected officials in attendance included: Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso, Councilmember Shahana Hanif, Attorney General Letitia James, State senator Zellnor Myrie, State Assemblymember Jo Anne Simon, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and New York City Comptroller Brad Lander.

This year’s Local Heroes theme highlighted the medical and safety workers, firefighters and police officers who help make Park Slope such an incredible place to live.

The parade ended at Old Stone house / Washington Park, where bands kept playing.
