Livable Streets

The Livable Streets Committee seeks to improve the use, safety and quality of the streets, sidewalks, and streetscape of Park Slope in ways that enhance street life and safety for all users.

Sustainability

The Sustainability Committee advocates for responsible use of natural resources in our community and promote better practices for the environment.

Historic District

The establishment of the Park Slope Historic District in 1973 played a strong role in Park Slope’s renaissance. The Civic Council’s efforts are presently focused on expanding the district.

Responsible Development

Through sustained advocacy in zoning, planning, and major redevelopment initiatives, the Park Slope Civic Council promotes growth that supports a vibrant, inclusive, and resilient neighborhood.
