Ira Mont, Trustee
Ira is a lifelong resident of Brooklyn and he and his wife have rented the same brownstone apartment in Center Park Slope since 1994. They have raised two children in the neighborhood (now twenty-six and twenty-two), both having attended PS 321. Ira has been a theatrical stage manager for over thirty years, and has been an elected leader of his union, Actors’ Equity Association. Ira is also a trustee of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, the philanthropic heart of Broadway and one of the nation’s leading industry-based, nonprofit AIDS fundraising and grant-making organizations.
