The 2025 Spring Civic Sweep on April 26 was a huge success!!
We had over 40 volunteers help us clean up our neighborhood over the course of the day by picking up trash. We filled over 15 trash & recycling bags full of garbage from the streets, which is an amazing feat!
We also filled 4 pallets of electronic recycling, handed out 50 compost bins, donated a dozen bags of perishable food items & diapers, and created beautiful art (by neighborhood kids!) made out of recycled materials. NY Kids Club provided musical entertainment.
And it didn’t rain!
