Celebrate biking on May 30 at our 2nd Bike Day in Prospect Park.
Join us from 11am – 2pm at Bartel-Pritchard Square for a 2-wheeled celebration. We will have helmet giveaways provided by the New York City Department of Transportation, Learn to Ride clinics for children with Bike New York and guided rides around the park with Kissena Cycling Club.
Trade bikes your children have outgrown at our Children’s Bicycle Swap. Volunteers will help with minor repairs so bikes are ready for their new riders.
Our partners on Bike Day include the Prospect Park Alliance, Council Member Shahana Hanif’s office, and Bike New York.
Participating organizations include Transportation Alternatives, Kissena Cycling Club, New York Cycle Club, Good Neighbors of Park Slope, R&A Cycles, the Workers Justice Project, NewYork-Presbyterian, and the 78th Precinct.
