Fall Civic Sweep Event

Meet us in front of the Old Stone House, 336 3rd Street on Saturday October 24 from 10 to 2.
There will be something for everyone:
- Neighborhood clean-up: Sign up for a one-hour shift. (Sign-up sheets will be available soon.) We provide all the tools you need!
- Free daffodil bulb giveaway to help brighten your garden this spring
- Electronics drop-off courtesy of LES Ecology
- Free compost courtesy of the Master Composter Program at LES Ecology
- Cold-weather gear collection: Bring coats, hats, gloves and warm sweaters to benefit CHiPS
- Learn how to care for your tree beds
- Learn how to adopt your spot with Sanitation Foundation
- Children’s art projects
- Halloween Parade Float-Making — 11:00 AM–1:00 PM: Bring your old stroller or Radio Flyer wagon and turn it into a Halloween Parade float! We’ll provide the materials. Bring your creativity and get ready for the parade!
