Annual Forum Focuses on Growing Slope Businesses

Whether you already own a business in Park Slope or you’re thinking of starting one, the Civic Council’s next annual forum will be an exciting opportunity for you to connect with and learn from leaders and experienced members of our local economy.

The 2011 forum will explore “Growing a Business in Park Slope: Connecting, Supporting, and Inspiring Our Local Entrepreneurs.” Storefront, studio, or freelance operation, owners of all businesses at all levels will benefit from this free forum, which will take place Thursday, March 3, 7 p.m., at the Montauk Club, 25 Eighth Ave. (corner of Lincoln Place). Scheduled topics of discussion include “Turning Passion into Profit,” “Social Media,” “Thinking Outside the Real estate Box,” “The Nuts and Bolts of Business,” and “The Past and Future of Park Slope Business.”

More information, including a list of speakers, will be published in the next edition of Civic News.
