The B69 bus is now back in service on weekends. The line, a key transit link from DUMBO through Fort Greene and Prospect Heights to Park Slope, was limited to weekday-only service after budget cuts by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority in 2010.
The restoration begins on Saturday, Jan. 5. The bus will still follow its current route from Park Slope to Kensington — the same as the B67 bus, a change also made in the 2010 series of cutbacks.
The MTA made the promise to restore service on the B69 and other bus routes throughout the city last July. Read more about all service restorations on the MTA’s website.
