Public hearing: Zoning variance on Flatbush Avenue property

The city\’s Board of Standards and Appeals is holding a public hearing concerning an application for zoning variance for 213-223 Flatbush (southeast corner of Dean Street, the former Bergen Tile building).
Developer Lodz Development, LLC, is seeking an override of zoning regulations (off-street parking, residential floor area, open space, lot coverage, max height, etc.) for a new, large building on the site.
All homeowners in the area should have received a lawyer letter via certified mail asking for objections either by a notarized response page (due in their offices by Oct. 18) or at the public hearing (see below for date and location).
