Help Build a Greener Fourth Avenue!

Join your neighbors, block-association members, local gardeners, and businesspeople at a Tree Care Workshop on Saturday, June 16, from 12:30 to 4 p.m. and learn how to request a tree or adopt a tree in front of your home or business. Help “green” Fourth Avenue by cultivating tree beds, planting flowers, and mulching and watering.

We will be working on tree beds at 150 and 126 Fourth Ave. Tools and gloves will be provided by the Parks Department’s SteWagon in partnership with MillionTreesNYC.

This event is being sponsored by Forth on Fourth Avenue (FOFA), a committee of the Park Slope Civic Council, with assistance from the management of The Arias Park Slope and 126 Fourth Avenue. The workshop is part of a mini-grant FOFA earned from the MillionTreesNYC initiative.

For more information about FOFA’s workshop, download the informational flyer here e-mail the committee at fofa@parkslopeciviccouncil.org.
