Make More Room for the Holidays: Recycle Your Electronics!

The Lower East Side Ecology Center will be holding an electronic waste (e-waste) recycling event at P.S. 321 in Park Slope to help you responsibly recycle all of your unwanted or broken gadgets.

On Saturday, Dec. 8, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., you can bring your old electronics to P.S. 321,180 Seventh Ave. between First and Second Streets, for recycling.

A list of acceptable materials can be found here. The center accepts electronics from households, not-for-profit organizations, and small businesses (less than 50 employees), but does not take home appliances such as microwaves, refrigerators, or air conditioners. This event will be held rain or shine.

The electronic waste recycling program is made possible by Tekserve. The center would like to thank P.S. 321, the P.S. 321 PTA, and City Councilmember Brad Lander for being involved in this event.
