Trustee Melinda Morris has written an excellent article in the summer Park Slope Reader (out now) about her experiences with the Park Slope Civic Council.
“I have always believed in the importance of being involved and being part of the change you want to see,” wrote Morris, who also owns Lion in the Sun on Seventh Avenue. “The Civic Council is a thoughtful and effective force for making that change and for preserving and, perhaps more importantly, improving the community we all love so much.”
