The Trust for Public Land is a national non-profit organization that creates parks and protects land for people. Our NYC Playgrounds program has transformed 190 barren asphalt lots into vibrant playgrounds that provide safe and inspiring places for children to play and learn. Open to the public outside regular school hours, these playgrounds are accessible to 3.5 million New Yorkers living within a 10-minute walk. For more information please click here:
