Jeff Hamant, Trustee

Jeff came from France to the States when he was 26, as a trainee in a Manhattan bank. He needed to find a neighborhood that he could afford and feel great about it. His girlfriend, a student at Pratt, suggested Park Slope… it was an instant ‘coud de foudre’. 35 years later he is still in Park Slope, married to that girlfriend, with 2 kids who attended 321, and a small house on 6th Avenue. He retired from the banking industry and now manages small family buildings in Park Slope.
Jeff wants to ensure that Park Slope remains what it is, with its low scale houses, family community and green streets. He also will advocate for a larger historic district.
