Park Slope has been Kenetta’s home for several decades and is where her children were born and raised. It is also a community that she enjoys immensely, especially the camaraderie of her close-knit block. Over the years Kenetta has seen many changes, quickly becoming a de facto point person for her neighbors and business owners to express their approvals and concerns. She embraced the opportunity to join the Park Slope Civic Council as a trustee because it was a natural next step to participate more impactfully and help champion the organization’s initiatives. She is vested in helping preserve our community’s character and vibrancy, and will bring her advocacy, fundraising, analytical, and strong interpersonal skills to the organization
