Hope Tarullo, Former Communications and Data Manager
Hope first moved to Park Slope in 2004. She had been living in northern Westchester and was looking for a quiet neighborhood with lots of green space and architectural beauty. She’ll never forget getting off at the 7th Avenue subway station and seeing the lush trees and gorgeous buildings that lined the street. “Now this is a place I can live,” she thought to herself, and has been here ever since.
Prior to joining the Park Slope Civic Council (PSCC) as Communications and Data Manager, Hope worked as Assistant Director of Communications at Mary McDowell Friends School, a Quaker school for students with learning disabilities in Cobble Hill. In addition to her nonprofit work, she is a certified yoga teacher and has been teaching private and group classes since 2017. When she isn’t working or teaching, she can be found puttering in her garden, walking her dog in Prospect Park, or attending a meeting of Showing Up for Racial Justice. Hope currently lives in Kensington with her wife, Sara, her daughter, Bre, and their beloved pets. She is thrilled to help support the local community as a member of the PSCC team.
