Why does beautiful Park Slope put up with Brooklyn’s ugliest transit hub?!

Ugliest Transit Hub in Bklyn

Why does our vibrant neighborhood (Park Slope/Gowanus) have Brooklyn’s Ugliest Transit Hub at 4th Ave. and 9th St.?

Why don’t the long-delayed renovations include any improvements in lighting, signage or street-level amenities?

Ugliest Transit Hub in Bklyn
Forth on Fourth Ave (FOFA) a Committee of Park Slope Civic Council received a national matching grant to improve local transit hubs. So, Park Slope Neighbors, Arts Gowanus, the Fifth Avenue Committee and a growing list of community groups are partnering to re-vision/revive the 4th Ave/9th Street station.

We will host a “Pop-Up” installation in November 2014 using paper, props, and imagination to engage and inspire the community, the MTA and local politicians to re-think and improve this important public space.

Help finance the event on MATCH DAY
