The New York Police Department will register your bicycle for free.
- If you lose or have your bicycle stolen and the NYPD recovers it, we will return it to you!
- Have a permanent NYPD serial number etched on your bicycle in an inconspicuous place.
- Feel confident about your bicycle being registered with us — protect your ride!
Register your bicycle with the Police Department. We etch an NYPD serial number on the bike, so if it’s ever stolen and recovered by the NYPD, we can recognize the serial number and return the cycle to the owner.
