There is a chance to vote this November on whether or not New York State should hold a Constitutional Convention. This is a panel co-sponsored by Assemblymember Jo Anne Simon, Senator Velmanette Montgomery, Assemblymember Walter T. Mosley, Assemblywoman Tremaine S. Wright, and Public Advocate Letiticia "Tish" James. The town meeting is on what holding a Constitutional Convention would mean and what would be at stake (i.e. Senior Citizens, Education, Unions, Workers' Rights, Housing, Safety Net Programs, the Environment).
