We love our Sackett Street trees! On Sunday, July 15, 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., help the Park Slope Civic Council’s Forth on Fourth Committee finish the remaining tree beds at our last tree-care event of the summer.
At 9:30, meet us at the Garden of Union, on Union Street just above Fourth Avenue, for compost. At 10, we’ll be working in front of the Sackett Bar (661 Sackett, near Fourth) and near Bend and Bloom Yoga (718 Sackett).
MillionTreesNYC will bring mulch and hydrant access. Compost contributed by the Garden of Union. Tree stewardship assistance from GreenSpace on Fourth Avenue (the community garden around the corner, opening soon). Hand tools and gloves loaned by the Civic Council’s Sustainability Committee.
