The Civic Council recently lost one of its long-time and treasured members and former trustee. Nat Allman passed away in March due to complications from Covid-19.

On January 4th and 11th from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., bring your holiday tree to the Third Street entrance of Prospect Park or the Park Circle entrance at Parkside Avenue and Prospect Park Southwest. Your tree will be turned into environment-friendly mulch, which you can take home free of charge for your own garden.

The MTA is now beginning a series of open houses as a part of its Brooklyn Bus Network Redesign. This is our chance to restore the east-west connection that you’ve fought for since the B71 was cut in 2010.

PSCC Trustees voted to endorse congestion pricing to fund NYC subways and buses. The Board of Trustees sent a letter of support to the five State Legislators whose districts include parts of Park Slope. The Civic Council has publicly supported congestion pricing since 2008.
